objects)<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Manufacture of marble objects from marble dust with innovative methods<\/strong><\/p><p>The research program &#8220;International Cooperation in Industrial Research and Development Activities at a Pre-Competitive Stage 2003&#8221;, co-financed by the General Secretariat of Research and Technology (Ministry of Development), within the framework of the Competitiveness program, 3rd CSF.<\/p><p>The project is related to the production of original and innovative products, mainly decorative items and artifacts from marble dust. The finished products will have the appearance of solid marble, while they will consist of 65% marble.<\/p><p>During the project, the process of producing products by casting the mixture of marble powder in silicone molds is being studied, so that we have a significant reduction in production costs.<\/p><p>At the same time, ways of improving the quality and appearance of the products are expanding by experimenting with marble dust of a specific grain size and with color combinations.
