In particular, the project includes the collection and analysis of data from terrestrial and aerial LiDAR systems as well as the use of high-resolution satellite images of forested areas.<\/p><p>These data will be used to extract structural features at tree and stand level, classify forest species and produce 3D maps of forest areas.<\/p><p>A web application will be created to display and manage the 3D data.
