I-Stone: Re-Engineering of Natural Stone Production Chain through Knowledge-Based Processes, Eco-Innovation, and new Organizational Paradigms.

I–Stone was a research project implemented with co-financing from the European Community in the framework of the program “Nanotechnologies and Nanosciences, knowledge-based multifunctional materials and new production processes and systems”.

I-Stone addressed the European stone industry, aiming to optimize product production processes and waste management, leading to a new generation of products and preserving quality in the use of stone and its applications.
